the attribution just felt off most days. I’d check the numbers expecting them to line up with what I was seeing elsewhere, but they often didn’t, which made it hard to fully trust the reporting.

"Felt a bit too unfinished for what I needed"
I gave Counter Solutions a try for a small project, thinking it would be a quick and simple solution, but it just felt kind of unfinished. Like, it works for very basic counting, sure, but as soon as I needed a few normal features, they just weren’t there. I kept running into little limits and thinking, wait, that’s not an option? Maybe it’s fine if you only need something super simple, but for my use case it ended up being more frustrating than helpful...

I get that it is supposed to be more privacy friendly but cookieless tracking still makes me uneasy. It feels like companies found another way to follow you around and that does not make me feel much better.

I have mixed feelings about counter.com. When it’s up and running, it does what I need and it’s straightforward to use. But it seems to go down at the worst times, which gets really frustrating. I want to like it, but the reliability just isn’t there for me right now

I tried setting up a few custom reports, it was more frustrating than it should be. The filters feel basic, the layout doesn’t give you much flexibility, and I couldn’t really get the exact view I needed. I can see other customers running into the same issue if they need anything beyond simple reports.

"Wish I’d started using the reporting sooner"
I’ve been using the real-time reporting on counter.com, i kind of regret not paying more attention to it earlier. Being able to check the numbers right away instead of waiting for updates has saved me time more than once. Once you get used to the layout, it’s easy to read, and I like that there isn’t a bunch of extra clutter getting in the way. I’m giving it 4 stars because a few pages still feel a little clunky, and I did have to refresh once or twice. But overall, it’s been useful and I’d still recommend it.

I’ve liked that the billing is easy to follow, honestly. No random weird charges popping up, which is always a relief. I did spend a minute trying to find one invoice, not a huge deal, just one of those little things where you click around and then forget what you were doing for a second. But overall, it’s been straightforward.

I’m confused by the latest updates. Stuff I used every day suddenly doesn’t work the way it used to, and it just feels way more complicated for no reason. I keep thinking, why make a simple thing harder? It was working fine before.

"Limited integrations and mixed answers"
I’ve been frustrated with how limited the integrations are. I expected it to connect with more of the tools I already use, but that hasn’t really been the case. What makes it more annoying is that I keep getting different answers depending on who I ask, so it’s hard to know what’s actually supported and what isn’t. Overall, it feels more restrictive than I was hoping for.

"Not the most confidence-inspiring experience"
I used counter.com for a little while, but it didn’t give me a great sense of confidence. Some of the information felt a bit vague, and I found myself clicking around too much just to figure out what was actually going on. Nothing was a complete disaster, but it felt like whenever I needed clarity, nobody really took ownership of the issue or made things easier to understand. I’d feel a lot better about using it if they were more upfront and clearer about things from the start

"Dashboard was a hassle to use"
I signed up thinking the dashboard would be straightforward, but it ended up being more frustrating than I expected. A lot of the menus feel tucked away, simple stats take way too many clicks to find, and some pages randomly load slowly for whatever reason. Maybe the actual tool is fine, but dealing with the dashboard every day got annoying fast. I kept getting turned around and having to double-check stuff because it wasn’t always clear where that was supposed to be. Overall, not a great experience...

"Data exports feel unnecessarily restricted"
I used counter.com for a little while and it was fine at first, but the moment I actually needed to export my data, it got frustrating fast. The export options are really limited, and if you want to do anything outside their own dashboard, you kind of hit a wall.
What annoyed me most is that it feels like one of those policy loopholes where they technically let you export data, but not in a way that’s actually useful. I expected a simple full export or at least more file options, but it felt locked in. Maybe it works for basic tracking, but for me it wasted time and I wouldn’t use it again unless they fix this.

"Buttons Didn’t Work on My Phone"
To be fair, the site seemed fine overall, but when I tried using it on my phone, the buttons just wouldn’t work. I tapped them a few times and nothing happened, which made it frustrating to use.

I don’t know exactly how to explain it, but the numbers just feel off to me. I kept looking at them and couldn’t shake the feeling that something wasn’t adding up. Maybe there’s a reason behind it, but as a customer it made me feel unsure and a little frustrated.

"Event tracking was more hassle than it was worth"
I tried setting up the event tracking it felt clunky for what I needed. The setup wasn’t very clear, and some clicks either didn’t show up correctly or made me question whether anything was tracking right. I kept having to go back and double-check everything, which got old fast. Maybe it’s fine for really simple sites, but it just didn’t feel reliable for my use case. I also didn’t have much confidence that customer service would actually sort it out without a lot of back and forth, so I didn’t feel like spending even more time on it...

I wanted to like the tool, but the docs were confusing, and the examples, some of them felt outdated, kept sending me in circles. I kept getting stuck on basic setup stuff, which made the whole thing way harder to use than it probably needed to be

"I really wanted to like this…"
I really wanted to like this because the concept is actually nice, but after adding it, my pages started loading noticeably slower. What’s more frustrating is that it feels like one of those policy loophole situations where the performance hit gets brushed off because it technically still “works.” For me, that’s not good enough. If it slows down the site, it kind of defeats the purpose

"Took Forever to Get It Working"
It took way too long to get this up and running. I kept reaching out for help, but the email replies felt like they were coming from robots instead of real people, which made the whole thing even more frustrating. Once it finally worked, it was fine, but getting there was a hassle.

Not gonna lie, I tried using Counter Solutions and the GDPR details just didn’t feel clear to me. I couldn’t easily find simple info about how data is processed or how to delete my data, and the support response I got was vague too. Maybe it works fine for other people, but I didn’t feel comfortable using it for an EU website.

"Expected better conversion tracking"
I was expecting the conversion tracking to be straightforward and reliable, but it ended up being a headache. The numbers looked random at times, and it missed actual sales, which made it hard to trust any of the reports. I reached out to support hoping they could help sort it out, but they mostly pointed me to docs that didn’t really solve anything. it wasn’t what I thought I was signing up for, and I don’t see myself using it again.
